Prof. Daniel Adolfo Pérez-Fentes, received his MD from the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain, in 2002 and completed his Urology specialization in 2008 at the Galdakao-Usansolo Hospital, Vizcaya, Spain, Azienda Ospedaliera San Luigi di Orbassano, Turin, Italy and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York, USA.
His Doctoral Thesis focused on the functional, systemic quality of life effects of percutaneous nephrolithotomy.
Since 2008, Pr. Pérez-Fentes heads the Endourology Unit in the University Hospital Complex of Santiago de Compostela, where he organizes national & international Endourology training workshops & courses every year. He is also an Associate Professor in the University of Santiago de Compostela School of Medicine. Pr. Pérez- Fentes lectures on Endourology and performs live surgeries in numerous courses or congresses.
Editor of the book Practical Handbook on Supine Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy, he directs two Doctoral Thesis regarding urinary stone management.
