Kasra Saeb-Parsy is a Consultant Urological Surgeon who moved to Addenbrooke’s Hospital and joined Cambridge Urology Partnership in 2016.
He qualified from University of London in 1999 and embarked on his surgical training at the prestigious Hammersmith Hospital. Following completion of his surgical training, he spent the next 10 years conducting basic science and clinical research, in addition to completing his higher surgical training in Urology at the world renowned Cambridge University Hospitals.
He was previously a consultant at Royal Free Hospital in London where he introduced HoLEP surgery to the trust and was the clinical lead for Prostate cancer diagnosis. He subsequently moved back to Cambridge in 2016.
He mains interests are renal stone disease including Laser treatment. He also has a special interest in minimally inavsive (Rezum) as well as Laser treatment (HoLEP) for the management of urinary symptom caused by prostate enlargement. In addition he also specialises in prostate cancer diagnosis including use of MRI in the investigation of elevated PSA. He sees patients with all aspects of general urology as well as chronic prostatitis and chronic pelvic pain, urinay infection, blood in the urine as well as sexual dysfunction. He is the first urologist to offer REZUM treatment in Cambridgeshire.
Mr. Saeb-Parsy has a keen interest on research and education. He organizes courses on laser management of stone disease and MRI of the prostate and biopsy and Emergency Urology. He has presented his research nationally and internationally and has been faculty on many international conferences.
